“The Dorsal Sticks are great for all players. The girls in my Queen Margaret College team have really taken to them and their passing has improved immensely. I have also received great feedback from the New Zealand U19 Academy players who recently tried the stick during a Academy weekend. The players commented wicked, awesome. Personally, I had started flicking over a goal then continued flicking up a wall to reach a lip at about 600mm. Awesome sticks for young players. They are a great improvement and the bonus is that you don't have to paint them.”

“Players are thrilled with extra lift and distance they provide compared to old wooden versions. Will contact you when we need more!”

“Hi, I tried one last night and instantly got 300 mm more on my prodigious flick…. Send me a pair please. Awwwwsssooommmmeeeee!!!!!! 2 flicks from the centre spot into the bin…… The sticks are great….. I love em! My forwards weren’t complaining either"
Rob Feist (NZUWH Chief Referee)
"I struggle to throw any pucks on the concrete bottom but with the plastic fantastic I was able to throw any of the pucks consistently almost without fail and each time the puck had good rotation indicating that the stick is gripping the puck better than a wooden one to get it spinning. Interesting that the surface texture affects the height. It says to me that while you've got a great standard stick that there is still room for the enthusiast to "tinker" with the Angle / Texture to get the best out of the stick for themselves."
Ray Dolman (NZ Masters Coach)
“Many thanks for sending the sticks that I have just received them. I bought them without even taking order from my club members. When I brought the sticks to the pool on Friday night and letting them tried my pair of normal texture sticks, guess what, they really like it so much that the remaining pairs of sticks were taken up. The feedback is great. It's awesome and I really flick further and higher."

“Below is some feedback on the new Dorsals, compiled by me and a friend after a session last night. The comparisons made are to Brit-brats and the original Dorsals. Look: Overall a lot more stylish, the handle grip is a good addition. Strengths: Overall the handling is much better with a noticeable increase in the speed of movement through the water both with and without the puck. Whilst the overall distance of a shot is dependent upon technique the control imparted by the new design was greater than former sticks. It was much more simple to direct, flick and "play" with the puck, off floor flicks had notably improved accuracy. The more rounded inside edge allowed more confidence in hooking shots and the narrower profile made puck handling in awkward situations (ie blade edge handling) simpler. The flatter tip added another control surface which is always an improvement. Weaknesses: The shorter overall length meant that greater turning of the wrist is required to flick. Also took a while to get used to them and start to see the strengths outlined above but I guess this is the same with any new stick. Overall a good purchase, well worth the money”

“There are a lot of happy players using the sticks.”

“They’ve arrived, and my god do they look good! The sticks worked really well for me last night, the main improvement was with the control and I can get similar distance if I try a bit harder as my last sticks were a bit longer. I didn’t realise how much difference the holes would make; great for moving the stick to catch the puck but I will have to put a bit more effort in when swimming on the surface, perhaps you could design a pair for me with a switch to turn the holes on and off!!!!!!”
